I'm Back

I had a great weekend at the lake. The weather didn't cooperate, but it was nice to just be able to sit and relax for a while, knowing that I really didn't have to do anything. For some reason though, even though I slept tons, I can't seem to keep my eyes open. I've missed a ton of LJ entries while I'm gone, and hopefully I'll be able to read through them this week.

I must now get back to my cat who thinks that I've been most unattentive.

PS Happy Birthday joeymichaels ;)

Technically, it is "happy fictional birthday," but thanks all the same!

Buzzer told me she was going to booby trap the house. I think I talked her out of it. Booby traps should be reserved for expressing distress about things like new pets or vet visits, or nasty cheap dry cat food. We discussed other ways to express her inner turmoil.

Glad you had a wind down time Shar. HUGS

oh yeah and belated happy fictional birthday to you joeymichaels

She didn't listen to you. She left a nice squishy hairball right at the bottom of the stairs, which I promptly stepped on first thing in the morning.

Booby traps should be set regularly like alarm clocks.

Well it sounds like you needed the long weekend if you're still tired. At least you managed to relax and unwind a little. I still don't know what Canada day is.

??? Canada is older than 137, Canada must be a woman if it's trying to pull of the lying about it's age trick.

heh, not all us women lie about our age, some of us just don't ever mention it at all :P

"On June 20, 1868, a proclamation signed by the Governor General, Lord Monck, called upon all Her Majesty's loving subjects throughout Canada to join in the celebration of the anniversary of the formation of the union of the British North America provinces in a federation under the name of Canada on July 1st.
