Cat Memoirs

I recently had a conversation with a good friend, about how Buzzer has been adapting to the move. I was reminded of the time when one of his roommates had decided to adopt a cat, and how the cat fit in with the four male roommates, and one dog.

The cat had been found on a hunting trip, and had been starving. Mike, being the softy he is, couldn't let the cat die, and decided one more animal in the house couldn't hurt anything. The dog wasn't impressed at all. The cat, who was quite happy to be friends with the dog, was promptly chased around, barked at, and generally made to feel unwelcome. They had to lock the dog in the basement for a few days until the poor cat could get his bearings. Poor Angus (the cat) who just was trying to make friends, and who had been so rudely rejected by the dog, decided revenge was in order.

While the dog was locked in the basement, and despite the presence of a litter box, Angus, in a move that could only be seen as complete and total contempt, shit in the dogs food bowl.

Now who says cats don't understand what is going on? :P

Cat's are our lords and masters, the sooner we clue in to this obvious fact the easier our lives will become.
I once had a kitty who only peed in my asshole exe's shoes. All our shoes were lined up at the door or scattered about the apartment but this kitty knew exactly what the bad shoes smelled like.
