Shocked. Shocked I am!

Your Dominant Intelligence is Logical-Mathematical Intelligence

Always curious about how things work, you love to set up experiments.
You need for the world to make sense - and are good at making sense of it.
You have a head for numbers and math ... and you can solve almost any logic puzzle.

Hehe, that's the one I was expecting to get, but what they said about my lingual (sp?) capabilities wasn't too far off.

Umm. Well, OK. If you say so (but say it nicely).

Your Dominant Intelligence is Musical Intelligence

Every part of your life has a beat, and you're often tapping your fingers or toes.
You enjoy sounds of all types, but you also find sound can distract you at the wrong time.
You are probably a gifted musician of some sort - even if you haven't realized it.
Also a music lover, you tend to appreciate artists of all kinds.

You would make a great musician, disc jockey, singer, or composer.

Interesting! Are you musically inclined?

yeah, you could say that...

I starting singing solo in public at age 6 in the junior choir at church. I used to get reprimanded for singing at the table instead of eating. I can't listen to the radio without singing along, even if someone is trying to have a conversation with me...it's like an ADD complusion. (drives my kids crazy!) Sang in school musicals. I used to sing myself to sleep, and sometimes I still do. I still sing in a community choir. We're singing "Carmina Burana" with the local symphony this spring.

There was an electronic organ in our basement when I was a kid, and I spent most of my free time there goofing around with chords and melodies and stuff.
I play clarinet, and saxophone and dabbled at the flute. I was 1st chair and played at state level. (this may not mean anything to you...basically it's the top HS musicians from around the state you live in, that are invited to play together during an intense practice and performance timeframe)

I've always been sad that my parents didn't really support my obvious pre-disposition. I think I could have made a career out of it if I'd had any kind of direction. I've never had a vocal lesson in my life, and never had a private instrumental lesson. I taught myself to play sax.

I do think it's part of the reason why I can learn new languages with relative ease. I can just *hear* and mimic how they're supposed to sound.

Wow! Sounds like it hit you right on the money!

Ever thought about taking up voice lessons now? I don't have a great voice, but I love to sing, and it's definitely something I've considered.

yeah, it did!

I've never thought about lessons now actually. I just don't know *when* I'd find the time! ;P
